Twilight on bluray
The very first movie that I have seen with bluray was Twilight, which was just apt. A crisp and clear audio and video system plus a huge flat screen television, that’s more than enough to make a movie night simply perfect, right? Oh ok…let’s not forget about the buttery popcorn and berry slushy!:) …and not to mention the company of good ‘ol friends. This is what got me into the famed series. Needless to say, I can’t wait for November when the New Moon movie will be shown in theatres!

it all boils down to…
I have been trying to convince myself to spend my spare time as a stay-at-home mom studying instead of Facebooking! lol! For years now, in fact…even my cousins have been telling me to take on a new course like nursing or anything that has to do with the medical field. Needless to say, I haven’t been very successful. Neither were my cousins, in getting me leap into that huge decision. Can it be because I am not really ready to deviate from my own field which is Architecture/Interior Design? I guess so. This is why I am seriously considering Online master degrees instead that can help me in the design field which I am truly passionate about. This will allow me to pursue Interior Design even as a full time mom!

weight loss
Weight loss using Ephedra that leaves lean muscle tissues and at the same time stimulates the brain and body plus has the capacity to expand bronchial tubes that makes breathing easier, I heard has been banned recently and a better option would be ma huang which promises to help one lose 3-5 lbs. a week. What do you think? Is it really safe to go this extra mile just to lose those unwanted flabs and pounds? Let me know your thoughts!

on dieting
Oh yes, I should be headed into a new diet regimen soon. Needless to say, I am in a not so good shape…literally! I have been too lazy recently on most everything to put it bluntly, not to mention doing my hip hop abs which is my only form of exercise. Now opting for the best weight loss pill wouldn’t hurt, I think with the way I eat and the type of food considered as well. Wish me luck!:)

i want an upgrade
It is right about time for me to get an iphone upgrade. it has been over a year now since i first had my 2G version and i am really drooling over the latest, video capable 3G!!! awww! but it still costs a lot of money even for someone like me who is a current AT&T subscriber and $200 is big money indeed, especially during this crunch time. even S wants an upgrade from her nano to the better ipods out there. she is in fact eyeing my onw iphone, just in case i do decide to get the 3G. well…dream on! for both of us, hee!

be safe
What a day! We have just been contemplating on finally getting our own house and here we are faced with the chances of getting evicted from this apartment. Evicted in a rented apartment? Oh yes. Apparently, the house is now owned by the bank and not by the landlord that we met once. So this is the reason why when we last paid for rent and sent him a note that we are requesting for a screen door on our sliding door going to the common deck, we didn’t hear any word at all!
Now we are seriously considering on investing on our own property. One that is equipped with a home insurance protection, more so. Something to prepare for. A very huge decision that we are going to make soon, if all things work out just great to our advantage.

i was off but back…
i have been procrastinating once again. ever since i was hit by the nasty flu [nope not that kind or something worse like mesothelioma, thank God], it was really hard to get back that blogging feeling again. i just hope this is my way of saying, i have come back…to blogging! hee! the past weekend was even harder to do so since we had a spur of the moment mini-vacation in Maine. the one that was supposedly for M’s birthday. since he was given the day off today, we decided it is the best time to push through with it. and so we did!:) weekend well spent i should say…and it ended with some domesticated activities too. i just finished cleaning up the whole house and we even managed to get the car checked for it’s 10K mileage maintenance. a delicious dimsum lunch date and then M picking up the kids, karate class, a simple dinner…and so now, i am just chillaxing on the couch and heading back to the blog world!

a new venture
Yesterday I mentioned all things will fall into place, slowly but surely they will. I know, I can feel it and I am guided…thankfully, in many ways than one. I also mentioned that I did not want to go into details, as of yet. But I think I can just squeal just one today. You see, in the five years that we’ve been stationed here in the United States, my status is set to dependent. That means I cannot be employed until such time M gets sponsored and our current H1-B [for M] and H4 [for me and the kids] visas gets processed into permanent residency status. Needless to say…I miss working. I miss dressing up in the morning and being in the work force.
But there is one thing we, dependents or H4 visa holders are allowed to do. That is, we are allowed to have our own business and this is what I have been thinking about lately. I should be starting something that will help us financially. But what is that? How can I make it into reality? First and foremost, this venture should be something that I truly love doing. Otherwise, I am almost 100 percent positive that whatever it is, it won’t be much of a success in the long run. You can read more about this where it emphasizes the importance of loving the job that you do or a business that you put your mind and heart into. Now, this is some information that I need to read on some more. Plus this website has a whole lot of how-to articles that might be of help in my current ‘fling’ and who knows, maybe it’ll help you too!

getting into a healthy lifestyle
S said yesterday that she is really liking this year. i asked why and she said…because she gets to try out new things like sports. we just registered her for cheer leading last saturday and C got into karate yesterday. she wasn’t as interested with karate before that, but now she is saying she wants to try it out too after seeing C join in the session for the very first time. which is good. i really wanted her to try out karate too. they need these extra-curricular activities especially something sports related plus it is a good way to learn self defense as well.
even M and i are gearing into a healthier lifestyle [keeping my fingers crossed]…and i am starting today. again keeping my fingers crossed here:]….as i am missing doing my hip hop abs exercises and yes, i really really, badly badly need to go back into dancing my way to a healthier and trimmer figure! one thing i also miss is doing what i love most…designing. i am not sure if i still can make a cad drawing! but this is what i know…slowly, but surely with prayers and perseverance… we’re getting there. everything will take into it’s proper place. i just don’t want to get into details now.
