As an Architecture graduate with a background in computer aided drafting and design, the idea of having an Information Technology [or more commonly known as IT] certificate would have been more rewarding. This would also mark a better ground during those previous job applications I had where I could stand out from the crowd, beaming with such a credential! Imagine an Architect who is also an expert in networking technology and technical resources, security and even wireless technology. In my very recent job where the company centered on Engineering, the Cisco certification would’ve been a very competitive advantage. I could be soaring in dizzying heights now if I am an IT specialist as well! Beyond the opportunity to a career in networking, having this would also open doors for me to manage a small enterprise branch network.
Well it’s never too late isn’t it? There is still time to make a choice, not necessarily a career change but a chance to fortify my technical knowledge by getting valuable training from Cisco and finally fulfill a dream job of working in a stable company and gain immense reward out of it.
With today’s wildly growing career opportunities within the IT field, getting Cisco certified is definitely the right path to that career that can change ones life. If you are as interested as I am in harnessing a technical career and bring additional value to your career growth, you can visit their website to learn more about their valuable trainings and different levels of certification programs, which are globally accepted.
