Lasang Pinoy, Sundays Week #3 : Grilled [Inihaw]

One can never go through summer without a barbeque party, a simple backyard BBQ, a picnic with grilled food…may it be pork, chicken, vegetables, pizza, hotdogs, burgers even fruits! So for the third edition of LasangPinoy.Sundays, everything is all about grilled food, grills, grilling tools, frankly my dear, I…anything that insinuates the word GRILLE.
As for the photo, I prepared this back in our small apartment in New York and so I used the oven for grilling these sausages and mixed veggies and fruits Kebobs! Sweet longanisa, green bell peppers, pineapple chunks and some cherry tomatoes plus asparagus on the side make up for one fantastic taste of the summer season! In fact you can use any variations you can think of. Just chop up all ingredients [of course for the sausages, try to boil them first in water], drizzle a bit of EVOO, sprinkle some S/P, toss-toss-toss and pop them in the oven as it is or on a stick, or grill outdoors and voila! Instant BBQ!

I am inviting you to come join us in this fun photo-blogging event every Sunday here at spiCes as we show off our passion for food and this time it’s Barbeque season! Details of the meme is here. Drop me a line or leave a comment here, plus of course link up with MisterLinky if you have posted your entries! Thanks and happy grilling! Remember you are not required to cook here! We just want to know how much you enjoy eating and photographing!:) the Pinoy way…but we’ll definitely acknowledge a recipe if you have it!
PLEASE LINK UP HERE & Sprinkle some spiCe!

Perfect theme for the summer, Ces!
I’ll have to try grilling langonisa. That sounds like a delicious way of cooking it. Great combination with the fruits and veggie kababs

Ces, those kebabs look so delicious. I did not think that longanisa can be presented this way. Wow! I hope you served this with garlic rice … yum!
