weekend snapshot: D’s Bridal Shower [from CT to NY]

I am still tying to bounce back to my blogging mode, and have yet a lot of house chores to accomplish…but I can’t help sharing how I spent the weekend! We had a little road trip to Connecticut for a niece’s bridal shower, hence the photograph above. Niece! omgosh! A niece is already getting married? Am I that old? Not really…my cousin [D’s mom] just happened to get married young;) clear? I am so excited for the wedding next month for a lot of reasons. One, we get to go back to CT again:), next Chino is the ring bearer and mostly because, I will have my whole family [well, less my brother] attending the said wedding! My brother and his wife who are based in Vancouver, CA are coming over too for this family reunion in Mass but in a little later date and unfortunately it’s after the wedding;(…

After CT, we headed straight to New York to meet up with college friends. It was such a great coincidence that it was also the weekend that our friend Vince, who was visiting from Manila spent the weekend in NY as well as we planned this to visit our NY friends who are soon moving farther too! I’d say it’s the longest weekend ever since we almost didn’t get to sleep the whole time! I guess making the most out of what we’ve got…2 days! All these happened in two short days…
